The Gmei Optical 39208 is a square frame built from titanium alloy — the middle ground between the lightness of pure titanium and the cost of it. Four finishes, all of them restrained.
Titanium alloy keeps most of what makes titanium worth having: low weight, resistance to corrosion from sweat and skin, and enough springiness at the temples that the frame does not fatigue where it bends. The rim stays narrow, which is what keeps a square lens from looking heavy on the face.
At 140 mm across with a 53 mm lens and an 18 mm bridge, this is a true medium fit that suits most adult face widths. The 145 mm temples with anti-slip tips hold position without pressure behind the ears. Square shape, full rim construction, no visible branding on the front.
