Description
The Gmei Optical 3828J is a square alloy frame in two cool-toned finishes, black with grey and black with silver. It sits alongside the 3839J in the same family; the difference is the metal accent, warm on one and cool on the other.
Material Build
Alloy keeps the rim narrow and the frame light, which is what allows a full rim square to be worn all day without leaving marks on the nose. The temples take an adjustment cleanly, and the anti-slip tips are what keep an ultralight frame from sliding forward every time the head tilts down.
Design & Fit
Cool-toned metal accents read as more formal than warm ones, which makes this the version to pick for a strict office or a uniform. The square shape does the structural work, the finish stays out of the way. Full rim construction, no branding across the front.

Estimated Delivery Time
Real numbers, not promises โ how long your order takes from the moment you place it to the moment it reaches your door.
Updated ยท August 8, 2026The number that matters
From the moment you place your order to the moment it is delivered, United States:
This is the complete window, lens making and shipping included โ not just the shipping part. Ready-made frames without prescription lenses land at the short end of the range; prescription and custom lenses at the long end.
Where the time goes
The window above is made of two parts. Making your glasses comes first, shipping second.
Add the two parts and you get the window at the top: ready-made frames 6 to 14 business days, prescription lenses 12 to 18 business days. Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday start the next working day, which adds one.
Shipping time by destination
Business days in transit after your order leaves us. Add the making time above to get the full window.
We may adjust these windows at any time without notice.
