The Gmei Optical 99101T is a square TR-90 frame in one colour only: black. No finishes to choose between, no version of it that dates faster than the others.
TR-90 is the material for a frame meant to be worn without thinking about it. It flexes under pressure and comes back rather than staying bent, it does not corrode, and it carries almost no weight for its size. On a plain black frame the material also matters visually: TR-90 takes a matte finish that does not pick up the shine plastic frames get with wear.
Square and black is the most conservative combination in eyewear, and that is the point of this frame — it works in an office, in a photograph, and with anything you happen to be wearing.
