Description
The Gmei Optical 1218LS is an oval frame in TR-90 with titanium hardware, built with 128 mm temples โ substantially shorter than the 145 mm standard. That single measurement is what makes it work on a small head, and it is the reason most frames do not.
Material Build
TR-90 gives the front its flex and keeps the weight negligible, which matters more on a small frame where there is less material to distribute pressure. Titanium handles the parts that need rigidity and resists corrosion where the frame sits against skin. Eight colourways, an unusually wide run.
Design & Fit
Temple length is the fit dimension almost nobody checks and the one that decides whether glasses sit level or slide forward. At 128 mm these are cut for a smaller head; a standard 145 mm temple would push the frame down the nose no matter how the nose pads were set. The 142 mm front and 50 mm oval lens are proportioned to match.

This is the complete window, lens making and shipping included โ not just the shipping part. Ready-made frames without prescription lenses land at the short end of the range; prescription and custom lenses at the long end.
Where the time goes
The window above is made of two parts. Making your glasses comes first, shipping second.
Add the two parts and you get the window at the top: ready-made frames 6 to 14 business days, prescription lenses 12 to 18 business days. Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday start the next working day, which adds one.
Shipping time by destination
Business days in transit after your order leaves us. Add the making time above to get the full window.
We may adjust these windows at any time without notice.
