Description
The Gmei Optical 99814ZM is a round frame built from aluminium-magnesium alloy with titanium temples โ two of the lightest structural metals used in eyewear, each doing the job it is best at. Five colourways.
Material Build
Aluminium-magnesium alloy is exceptionally light for its rigidity, which is why it is used where weight is the priority: the front holds the circular rim without needing to be thick. Titanium goes into the temples, where a frame is flexed every single day and where corrosion from skin contact would otherwise show first. Both are non-reactive.
Design & Fit
A 50 mm round lens with a 19 mm bridge is a balanced proportion โ large enough to read as a proper round frame, not so large that it becomes a costume. The 148 mm temples are on the longer side, which suits a deeper head shape. Full rim construction with anti-slip tips.

Estimated Delivery Time
Real numbers, not promises โ how long your order takes from the moment you place it to the moment it reaches your door.
Updated ยท August 8, 2026The number that matters
From the moment you place your order to the moment it is delivered, United States:
This is the complete window, lens making and shipping included โ not just the shipping part. Ready-made frames without prescription lenses land at the short end of the range; prescription and custom lenses at the long end.
Where the time goes
The window above is made of two parts. Making your glasses comes first, shipping second.
Add the two parts and you get the window at the top: ready-made frames 6 to 14 business days, prescription lenses 12 to 18 business days. Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday start the next working day, which adds one.
Shipping time by destination
Business days in transit after your order leaves us. Add the making time above to get the full window.
We may adjust these windows at any time without notice.
