Description
The Muzz 1105888 pairs an alloy front with wooden temples โ an uncommon combination, and one where the two materials are doing genuinely different jobs rather than being mixed for effect.
Material Build
The front is alloy, because the rim has to hold the lens at a narrow section and keep its shape. The temples are wood, which is where the material makes sense: they carry no structural load beyond gripping the head, so they can be a material chosen for warmth and grain rather than for strength. Wood also sits differently against the skin than metal โ warmer immediately, and it does not conduct cold in winter.
Design & Fit
Wooden temples are visible from the side rather than the front, so this is a frame whose distinguishing feature shows in profile. The oval front stays conventional, which is the right choice: two unusual elements would fight each other. Two finishes, silver and grey. Full rim construction.

Estimated Delivery Time

Updated ยท August 8, 2026The number that matters
From the moment you place your order to the moment it is delivered, United States:
This is the complete window, lens making and shipping included โ not just the shipping part. Ready-made frames without prescription lenses land at the short end of the range; prescription and custom lenses at the long end.
Where the time goes
The window above is made of two parts. Making your glasses comes first, shipping second.
Add the two parts and you get the window at the top: ready-made frames 6 to 14 business days, prescription lenses 12 to 18 business days. Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday start the next working day, which adds one.
Shipping time by destination
Business days in transit after your order leaves us. Add the making time above to get the full window.
We may adjust these windows at any time without notice.
