The Muzz JM105rx is the angular counterpart to the JM104rx: same thick acetate, same two-tone finishes, squared off instead of rounded. Four colourways, from bright black to transparent blue.
Acetate is cut from pressed sheet, which is what allows two colours to sit in the same piece of material rather than one being painted over the other. On a thick front you can see the layering at the rim edge. The material is warmer against the skin than metal and can be reshaped with gentle heat if the fit needs adjusting.
The square outline gives the face a horizontal line to work against, which reads as more assertive than a round or oval acetate. Combined with a thick front it becomes the defining feature of the face rather than an accessory to it. Full rim construction on every edge, comfortable with stronger prescriptions.
