The Reven Jate 9745 is a round titanium frame with the deepest lens in this group — 45 mm. On a round shape that is unusual, and it is what makes this one work with a progressive prescription where most round frames do not.
Pure titanium. A round rim has no straight run anywhere to resist bending, which is why round frames in soft metal slowly go oval and stop holding the lens. Titanium returns to shape instead of taking a set, so the circle stays a circle. It is also inert against skin, which matters on a frame with a wide 20 mm bridge sitting flat on the nose.
138 mm across the front with 145 mm temples and a generous 20 mm bridge — that combination suits a lower or wider nose bridge, where a narrow bridge would leave the frame sitting too high. Five colourways, including leopard and transparent alongside the plain metal tones.
