The Reven Jate 5005 is a pure titanium frame with a 42 mm lens height — deep enough to take a progressive lens without cutting the reading zone. That is the reason to choose it over the shallower frames in this range.
Pure titanium, full rim. On a frame that will carry a progressive lens the weight question is real: progressives are thicker at the bottom edge than single vision, and in an alloy frame that extra mass ends up pressing on the bridge all day. Titanium is what keeps the total low enough that it does not. It also does not corrode, which matters on a frame worn every day for years rather than a season.
135 mm across the front, 148 mm temples — a medium fit with slightly long arms, which suits a deeper head shape. The supplier does not commit to a single frame shape here and the metafields disagree with each other, so the photographs are the accurate description. Three colours: C1, grey, black.
